Summary: This is not a handicap friendly hotel. You have to go down stairs for the first floor, pool was on the basement and is was not easy to walk thru the hotel. The room has smelly carpet and we had to use spray every time that we were going inside the room.

Summary: Staff were very attentive & polite. An older hotel but well kept & many updates. Room was clean & bed comfortable. Shower was good with lots of pressure & hot water. A cooked breakfast was included with bacon. Unfortunately it was lukewarm. Restaurant/ bar served good food. Pool/ Hot tub is located underground and were both quite cool. Also unfortunately road traffic noise is present on front side rooms & train noise at rear from mainline trains several times a night. Earplugs would definitely be useful. Overall a good stay.

Summary: Check in was fast and accommodating. Requested at the front desk to have our room cleaned while we were out for the day on Thursday and came back to the garbages empty and the dirty towels removed but that’s it. Beds were left unmade and the towels weren’t replenished. Requested our room to be cleaned when we were out for the day on Friday and let the front desk know what had happened the day before. Both ladies jotted my room number on slips of paper and said it would be done. Came back in the evening to absolutely nothing cleaned in our room. Both times the cleaning staff had gone home for the day so nothing could be done. At checkout they were going to charge me an extra $50 that had shown up on their invoice but I showed them my hotels.com receipt which they honoured. The stay could’ve been better but it also could’ve been way worse.

Summary: Hotel was pretty good overall. Room was good, clean. Ceiling above shower needed cleaning and mattress was too soft for my liking but overall a good experience.

Summary: Bed was a little too soft for my liking, but definitely not the fault of the hotel. Not 100% sure of all of the hotel’s eco-friendly practices, so rated them above average. It was August, so the days were hot. Upon entering my room, I was pleasantly surprised to find that the air conditioning had been turned on to cool the room, and the refrigerator was pre-chilled for my evening adult beverages. The lady at the front desk, Ameesha (not sure about the spelling), was very friendly and courteous. She even agreed to call me by name, when I asked her to please not call me “Sir” 😛. I was lucky enough to interact with her often during my 3 night stay, and she was always pleasant, respectful, and even remembered my name. All of the staff were very nice and helpful and kind. I will definitely stay here again.
